Bob Angarola is the Managing Director & Chief Administrative Officer for Calyon Americas—the Corporate & Investment banking arm of Credit Agricole, the largest bank in France. He has responsibility for all Business Continuity & Internal Control for the North & South American entities of Calyon. In this capacity, Bob maintains day-to-day responsibility for management of risk mitigation & control along with management of the Bank's self-assessment process as it applies to disaster recovery & business continuity—both the technical & business components. Prior, at Credit Lyonnais, Bob was the Chief Administrative Officer for the Banking Division, managing the US$ Payments & Loan Administration operations & technology areas.


He has also been CIO for Bank Julius Baer in New York; VP & Director of Global Trading Operations for Bank of America; & VP & Director of Operations & Technology for Creditanstalt. A veteran of nearly 30 years in banking operations, technology & risk management, Bob has also served as a member of the IFSA Board of Directors since 1997—2 years as its Chair, IFSA's Annual Conference Chair in both 1985 & 1997 and a member of the SWIFT Financial Trading Working Group. He is also a member of the Contingency Planning Exchange.
