On Wednesday, during its third annual f8 developer's conference, Facebook unveiled yet another update to its wildly popular social networking site, this one designed to extend the features of Facebook to partnering sites.
Facebook has seen a number of changes over the few short years it's been in existence, not only in the way it appears and is organized, but also in how users interact with it. With those changes have come a significant amount of backlash -- and pleas to return to the old. But Facebook has persevered. Confident that it knows how people want to interact with each other online even better than users themselves do, Facebook has repeatedly, and successfully, ushered its members into the next phase of its evolution.
