PC Shipments to Sink Record 12%: Gartner

PC shipments are now forecasted to fall 12% in 2009, according to research firm Gartner. This would be their sharpest fall ever, and sales in emerging markets are also expected to shrink for the first time as the recession proves even the resilient PC industry is at risk.

Sony Recalls PC Batteries
