- Light on system resources. SUPERAntiSpyware has been designed from the ground up to be light on system resources and to easily co-exist with other anti-spyware and anti-virus applications. With the rate that new infections are released today, a single application cannot catch everything on a given day. Running multiple “layers” of protection is the best approach and we have designed SUPERAntiSpyware with this in mind.
- Frequently updated definition database. SUPERAntiSpyware’s database definitions are updated typically on a daily basis to keep pace with the latest zero-day (emerging) threats.

SUPERAntiSpyware is available in two versions to accommodate the user’s and industry demands. SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition is a 100% free product that does not require any form of registration and features the same powerful and effective scanning engine that our Professional version contains. The Professional version features Real-Time Protection, First Chance Prevention and Scheduled scanning.
- SUPERAntiSpyware is not a virus scanner. SUPERAntiSpyware is not designed to replace your virus scanner. SUPERAntiSpyware also will only detect password and information stealing keyloggers – it specifically does not detect general keyloggers due to the fact that many employers and other organizations use them for business purposes. We do detect many of the password stealing and harmful keyloggers and some viruses.
- SUPERAntiSpyware is not a HIPS or Behavioral Blocker. SUPERAntiSpyware is not designed to detect general “intrusion” into the system or block items based upon behavior alone – we have smart definitions designed to detect and remove actual threats. Having too many applications monitoring and blocking behaviors can slow a system to a crawl so we have focused on detection, blocking and removal of actual emerging threats.
