For the third consecutive year, Accenture sits atop the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals’ (IAOP) annual ranking of the world’s 100 top outsourcers.
The rankings, which were released Monday, are based on four key strengths: customer references, demonstrated competencies, balanced performance and management capabilities. Heading this year’s list are:
1) Accenture (customer references)
2) Infosys Technologies (demonstrated competencies)
3) Sodexo (balanced performance)
4) Wipro Technologies (management capabilities)
5) IBM (management capabilities)
6) ISS (demonstrated competencies)
7) Tata Consultancy Services (management capabilities)
8) Aramark (balanced performance)
9) CSC (demonstrated competencies)
10) Convergys (customer references)
Compared to the 2009 list, IBM dropped from number two to number five while Infosys jumped to the second spot from its number-five ranking last year. Gone from the top-ten list this year are Capgemini, Hewlett-Packard, Genpact and Tech Mahindra; new to the ranking are Aramank, CSC, Convergys and ISS.
