Here's an interesting idea: application discovery through social networking. Starting this week, people who can't be bothered to read the latest iPhone app reviews or monitor the app store for new and interesting releases can just download an app that tells them what their friends or colleagues are using and whether they like it. Available in beta since September, Chorus from Envio Networks won't be particularly useful unless you have a lot of contacts who are also using the service, but it's an interesting example of new ways to use social networking.
