Bill Gerneglia, Head of Editorial Operations

Bill has been a member of the technology industry for 25 years and brings extensive expertise to the role of CTO.  Previously, he co-founded OptaCommerce.com and served as its CTO.  He has also held the positions of founder and director of operations for GolfHelp.com Ad Network, and served as the chief technology officer at both WiseAds New Media and About.com.  Bill worked for more than 10 years as a C/C++ programmer at various technology and publishing companies before joining Oracle in its Architectural Services Division. He also served as Vice President of Systems & Quality for Elsevier Engineering Information, where he helped build the Engineering Information Village.  This product provided Internet-based full-text search access to the Compendex database, used daily by thousands of scientific and research organizations around the world.

James Lee,  Information Technology Specialist

James has over 15 years experience in online development, from design and usability to advertising operations.  He manages all aspects of development and oversees advertising operations on CIOZone.com and CFOZone.com.  He holds two Fine Art degrees – a BFA from The College for Creative Studies and an MFA from The New York Academy of Art.

Patricia Varga, Direct Sales Associate

Patricia Varga has 25 years of publishing and media experience, in both corporate and entrepreneurial environments, most recently with The Economist and economist.com.  She has worked with some of the most respected brands and companies in media, including The New Yorker, Outside Magazine, Men's Health, in addition to Times Mirror, Hearst, Hachette, and Conde Nast.  Besides business development, corporate sales and marketing, Patricia has been very involved with charities and philanthropic organizations that enhance the status of women and children around the world.  She is the founder of A Woman with Wings.  Additionally, she works closely with Haven House, A Window between Worlds, and Glendale Adventist Cancer Services.
