Shaddock joins Tyco from Motorola where he was senior vice president of the company's consumer products business. Prior to that role, he was CTO for Motorola's Mobile Devices division. Earlier in his career, Shaddock served as CEO of Blue Wave Systems, a British company that developed high performance digital signal processing technologies for the telecommunications and military industries. Blue Wave was acquired by Motorola in 2001.
