Maradik joined Nashville-based Gaylord two years ago from database marketing firm SmartDM. Gaylord chief executive Colin Reed said the company will now be leaning on Maradik to use that expertise in database marketing to help build an improved CRM system.

"We will be drawing on Rich's deep experience and expertise in building marketing systems to enable us to more effectively communicate with our clients and retain and attract and even larger base of loyal customers," said Reed.

In addition to operating a chain of resorts, Gaylord also operates the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, which has showcased country music's stars for the last 80 years.
