ITT Corp., a diversified engineering and manufacturing company based in White Plains, N.Y., has hired Carol Zierhoffer, the former CIO for Northrop Grumman's mission systems sector, as its CIO.
Zierhoffer will report directly to ITT CEO Steve Loranger.
In her new position Zierhoffer will assume responsibility for the strategic planning, alignment, governance, and delivery of all IT products and services for ITT. Zierhoffer brings more than 25 years of IT experience to her role, including 20 years at Northrop Grumman.
"ITT will benefit from Carol's vast experience in driving superior performance through technology innovation," Loranger said.
