Corbis Taps American Greetings for CTO; Pizza Hut Finds its CIO at FedEx Kinkos

Corbis, a digital stock photo business that was launched by Bill Gates, has hired Rajiv Jain as its new chief technology officer.
Jain joins Seattle-based Corbis from American Greetings Interactive (AGI), the digital arm of the greeting card company, where he was CTO and general manager.
According to the company Jain will oversee all technology activities and be a member of the executive team. At AGI Jain was credited with leading the integration of two acquisitions in the digital photo space, namely WebShots and PhotoWorks.
Prior to joining AGI, Jain was general manager for e-commerce at Cingular/AT&T Wireless and held management positions with Portal (now part of Oracle), IBM and Autodesk.
"Rajiv has an impressive track record and proven expertise in leading cutting-edge technology and e-commerce operations," Corbis Chief Executive Gary Shenk said in announcing the hiring. "Technology will play an essential role in further improving customer service for Corbis and accelerating our growth in both the traditional images market and the fast-growing microstock segment."
Pizza Hut Names Baron Concors CIO
Dallas-based restaurant chain Pizza Hut has named Baron Concors CIO, according to a report in Nation's Restaurant News.
Concors replaces Ryan Boone who left to become CIO of Dollar General of Goodlettsvville, Tenn. Most recently, Concors was vice president of global retail technology for FedEx Kinkos, the copy center and retail operation of FedEx.
Pizza Hut is a division of Yum! Brands, based in Louisville, Ky.
