Data Protection to Data DeDup
In early 2007 Data Domain still bills itself as a leading provider of "Enterprise Protection Storage" systems, but signs of change are on the horizon. The company is rated the top data deduplication vendor in a survey of Fortune 1000 companies by TheInfoPro research network.
In September of 2007, Data Domain changes its tag line. In now declares itself "the leading provider of Deduplication Storage systems for disk backup and network-based disaster recovery."
