The 27 Strangest Help Desk Requests Ever


"How do I get my computer's coffee-cup holder to come out again?" That question might be the best. But it's just one of a list of almost-too-silly-to-be-true questions put to help desk personnel.


Robert Half Technology, a leading IT staffing firm, developed a survey that asked chief information officers to find out the strangest requests they or their support staff have been asked by workers. Telephone interview were conducted with more than 1,400 CIOs from across the country.
