For months speculation had mounted that President Barack Obama would tap a senior industry statesman for the role of Federal CIO or CTO. Instead, he named a relative newcomer to the post, announcing Vivek Kundra, 34, would take on the critical role. In his blog, Mel Duvall asks is Kundra's age an issue, or just what the job requires?
