Let me state the obvious, that anyone that can guarantee quick legitimate top ten ranking in the keywords, key phrases and category or industry specific listing in the top search engines and keep them there would be doing that for themselves. This is because like in great real estate it’s all about "location, location, location" top ten rankings with domains and working websites with x amount of guaranteed traffic are worth top dollars on the open market. Most savvy webmasters, and SEO experts now that. SEO is much more difficult to bid on than website design/development/hosting, it has more variables; some of them are the website itself. I believe in empowering clients, from a great pitch man Sy Simms “An educated consumer is our best customer”. My purpose is to answer some questions and to help guide you in the right direction to get your SEO objectives met. With that said to get top ranking in my opinion takes “Time and Money”. I said that in that order on purpose, because “Time” is what it takes to produce the best economic results ROI (Return on Investment) “Money”. In my experience it takes at least 3 months to see results from SEO efforts. These are simple examples of some of the things you can empower yourself on. A great place to start is with some free products and information. The first place you can start is in the “Lions Den” Google. Go to https://www.google.com/accounts/ManageAccount, if you do not have an account start one, if you do, login and check out the free features that Google offers its member, they have free SEO features that you can monitor and use, or allow your consultant to help you on. They also have a process to SEO your Sitemap when you install one, plus many others. They also have a business section for business owners. Take a look, it’s free and it is thru Google itself. I do recommend that you use your Google email (Gmail) account to use as your contact email when promoting yourself, they have great Spam filters and you can access your Google services thru this email. From these two resources you can control 70-80% of your SEO efforts. You can also repeat this process with Yahoo business services. A few recommendations are WebCEO http://www.webceo.com, Get the free WebCEO SEO download, they have a free and pro version, it is one of the best SEO tools around. SitePoint http://www.sitepoint.com Check out SitePoint for free and pay SEO resources, and a good newsletter. SiteProNews http://www.sitepronews.com/ is also a good resource for SEO information and good newsletter. This is only a small amount of the free and pro tools and information that is available to you to assist you in your SEO decisions. I hope this has helped. When you make your requests for SEO for your website it is my intention that you and others have a common point to confer on and that you get the best results for your invested time and money.
