What is the best way to drive offshore value in terms of Total Cost Ownership as Opposed to just hourly rate..
I see TCO should include, code quality, time lost in debuging, time lost due to attribtion, time lost in untrusty relationships etc.
Is IT industry waking up to do cost savings this way..

They key to success in offshoring is to identify the set of processes or activities that can see significant benefits from offshoring without too much involvement/bandwidth of the client organization. Every organization's readiness from engaging an offshore relationship is unique in its own way, this is true whether an organization has its captive facility offshore or engages an outsourcer.
