The Bush era has left us with a lot of highly-publicized & highly-controversial cases being heard in front of the Supreme Court. And many of these cases are calling attention to the need for increased data retention and organization for regulatory compliance and ediscovery requests.

In response to this, many new niche web sites have popped up to follow the trend.

At first, Email Archive Review may just seem like one more place to gather information about disaster recovery and email archiving. But this is a site with a difference. Email Archive Review promises to be a centralized resource where all the best in the industry can gather and submit their input into the future of this growing trend.

Rather than being just another generalist enterprise software site, this site has decided to focus all of its efforts, like a laser beam, on becoming a discussion ground for tracking the progress and future of email archiving as it relates to the unique needs of the enterprise market.

If you’re a VAR or Technology Integrator looking to get a bit of exposure, I’d strongly suggest submitting articles and having your voice heard. Also, vendors may submit content and give their unique perspectives on how to best implement these technologies, and what makes their solutions unique.

Having said that, my only complaint is that the site is a bit light on content. But over the next few months, I strongly suspect that increased participation in this arena will really help call attention to their cause, and that Email Archive Review will soon become a major force in the world of email archiving-related content.

If you’re at all involved in email archiving, regulatory compliance, business law, enterprise email management, or any related industries, you should consider submitting your point of view for discussion, and making your voice heard.
