Over the past decade, we've seen a pair of recessions, the collapse of Lehman Brothers, the first black president of the U.S., and major terrorist attacks in Mumbai and New York. With all of that activity, it might be easy to overlook the biggest stories in technology. But then you'd be forgetting about Google's rise to prominence, the advent of the BlackBerry and the Oracle-Sun drama.
