London Stock Exchange Names New CIO |

The London Stock Exchange Group on Tuesday announced the appointment of Antoine Shagoury as CIO, reporting directly to the group's CEO Xavier Rolet.
Shagoury assumes responsibility for the exchange's technology in all markets and the company-wide IT organization, officials said. Previously CIO of the American Stock Exchange (now part of NYSE Euronext) since 2004, Shagoury will also join the exchange's executive committee. Rolet expects the addition of Shagoury to the exchange's executive team will "allow the Group to take advantage of new opportunities and deliver on its growth strategy," according to a written statement.
Before joining NYSE Euronext, Shagoury served as CTO for financial services firm Instinet Services.
