It's not really that Chinese CIOs are so different from their U.S. counterparts, but they do have different priorities and are subject to different pressures. In many instances, they're also still trying to catch up with mature U.S. IT operations. Starting from relative scratch can prove both an obstacle and an advantage. Here are five ways in which CIOs from the two countries differ in their approach.
