Tidewater Fills CIO Spot From Within
Oil tank operator Tidewater has promoted Matthew Mancheski to vice president, CIO, and chief strategic planning officer. Mancheski will be charged with overseeing all of the New Orleans-based company's information technology and software applications, and well as its strategic planning initiatives, according to Tidewater.
Before the appointment, Mancheski served as the company's senior director of strategic planning and financial analysis. Before joining Tidewater, he had been vice president and controller for Children's Hospital in New Orleans.
Tidewater, a publicly traded company, was founded in 1955 and owns 392 vessels that provide marine services to the global offshore energy industry. The company says it has locations in all of the major oil and natural gas basins of the world.
