CIOZone Technology Writer
Position Overview:
CIOzone.com is looking for part-time technology writers for immediate hire to work remotely and virtually from their home office location.
The successful candidate will contribute site content related to technology and technology news.
We are seeking writers who can work independently on Full length feature articles, news stories, Blogs, and general information pieces about the IT industry and technology trends.
Experience Writing to the CIO, CTO, and Sr VP, Director of Technology audiences is especially helpful with these assignments.
We work with writers as independent consultants on what we call a "package" basis.
A package consists of the following components:
2 Articles ( approximately 550 - 700 words )
2 Blogs ( approx 450 - 500 words each )
4 forum posts to existing threads and 2 comments on existing articles on ciozone.com
The content and focus of each of the submitted content items should be aligned and fit into the Technology Zones found in the top main Navigation bar on ciozone.com.
Some of our writers deliver between 1 - 3 packages per month. The package rate based on your experience and our editorial budgets at the time of engagement.

Qualifications should include:
Experience writing about technology—from either a technical or business perspecitive.
Established online profile—please send links to your social media sites, blog, etc.
This is initially a freelance position but successful candidates may be hired into a fulltime position.
Some candidate may be asked to come to our NYC office location for an initial backgroud and discovery session.
