I was just re-watching the GTRA video (library found off the home page of ciozone.com) and tuned into Emma Kolstad Antunes, Web Manager for NASA.
Please watch her, if you haven't - for a rocket scientist, astro-phyicist type, she is very eloquent and to the point.
One of the best reasons for using CIOZone, our soon to launch sister site CFOZone and our government and technology partner GTRA is what Ms. Antunes refers to as the great "mind shift." Many thorny problems in astrophysics and astronomy are solved by scientists from other fields - because they share their perspective and problem solving capabilities...and point others in the direction of finding answers.
It's kind of like finding a set of keys that you've lost in your house - by sitting in a chair you usually don't sit in, you gain a new perspective on your kitchen or living room or dining room and you can more clearly see where you've placed your keys.
Sounds like a simple observation, but one I think many leaders and top enterprise managers forget because of the daily rigors of staying the course or simply staying in "retrograde" motion ...
