| Think its tough supporting mobile workers now? Well you ain’t seen nothing yet.
IDC predicts that the number of mobile workers will reach 1 billion by 2011 – with 75% or the U.S. workforce being able to work outside the office.
But, as most CIOs are all too aware, an increasingly mobile workforce raises a host of challenges – support, integration and, especially, security.
But John Rhome, director of information services for AFL Telecommunications, and Clif Triplett, CIO of Motorola's networks and enterprise business unit, offer some good advice in an article recently published in Symantec's CIO Digest.
