When it comes to work, what do IT professionals say is the most important thing to them?
Ninety-four percent of those polled by trade magazine Computerworld said it was being fairly compensated. Next came working in a challenging and enjoyable environment followed by having access to training and opportunities that further their skills.
The findings were published as part of the publication’s annual Best Places To Work survey. More than 31,000 IT workers responded.
Also high on the list: having the means and opportunity to further their careers; being able to work with cutting-edge technologies; and working with a group of people who are culturally and ethically diverse, with a range of opinions and perspectives.
